Ecological Pool Heat Pumps

At last a heat pump that doesn't draw any more power to start than it does to run.

ecological pool heatingThese high quality Sanyo, titanium heat pumps have been specifically designed for Ecological Pool Sytems for use in Spain and the differing temperatures we have to contend with here.

The ecological heat pump can be installed for any pool with a normal electricity supply , and also three phase power.

They are manufactured to the very highest standards, and are smooth running, quiet and reliable and consume a fraction of the fuel a conventionally heated gas, oil or electric heater would. This lessens the cost to the environment and reduces your carbon footprint, whilst allowing a warm pool to be economically viable. Remember, you could increase your season for holiday rentals by allowing year round use of your pool, and typical running costs can be as little as 1.20 euros a day.

Air to water heat pumps take heat fom the surrounding air and transfer it to the water in the swimming pool. In our pumps, the heat exchanger is made of titanium, which withstands the potential chemical erosion from swimming pool water, if you have’t yet converted to a chemical free Ecosmarte system for your pool sanitisation.

The heat pumps work by using advanced refrigeration technology, moving heat from the surrounding air and transferring it to your pool water. This system is proven, safe, economical and trouble free.

Ecological Pool Systems are one of only a few European companies to use eco and ozone friendly refrigerant in their heaters.

ecological pool heat pumpThe pumps works by taking heat from the surrounding air and using it to heat the low pressure liquid refrigerant in the heat pump’s evaporator, vapourising the liquid. The refrigerant then passes through the compressor which raises it’s pressure and therefore its temperature. Once it is a gas, it passes through the heat pump condenser, where it gives off it’s heat to the water and condenses back into it’s liquid state. The liquid refrigerant is then passed through an expansion valve where the pressure is reduced and the cycle starts again.

Don’t forget, the heating of your pool can be made more effective and economical by using a pool cover, allowing you year round use of your pool.

Our heaters are available in either a 20kW single phase model, or a 26kW three phase model
